Jr Billies finish their season as undefeated Conference Champs! It's been a great season for our Jr Billies Football Team, Band, Pom squad, and Cheerleaders!










Chemistry Classes at MHS had a fun day celebrating Mole Day (National Science Holiday) with a cool, colorful lab, where students identified specific metal ions in compounds by observing the color they produce when heated in a flame.

The MMS Book Club has finished its book of the year. The 7th/8th grades read The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes and ended with a presentation and Q&A with Alex McDonald from the Arkansas State Crime Lab. The 6th grade read Spy School by Stuart Gibbs and ended with a spy camp.
The book club is starting their 2nd book of the year, Orbiting Jupiter by Gary Schmidt, which will be read by all grades.

Congratulations to the members of the Monticello choir selected to the 2025 ArkCDA Region 3 all-region choir at auditions in Bryant, AR. MMS and MHS students did well and, we their hard work and outstanding achievement should be celebrated! All of our students did a phenomenal job as participants.

JR Billies remain undefeated in conference play and secure the Conference Champ
title defeating Stuttgart 28-20 tonight. Join us tomorrow night for the Homecoming game as the SR Billies take on the Ricebirds at home. Go Billies!

The Homecoming Ceremony will be tomorrow at 1:30pm in the Billie Arena. The main entrance to the Arena will open to the public at 1:00pm. Families, Friends, and community guests will sit on the Home Side of the arena. This event will be live streamed via Facebook on the Monticello High School page.
The pregame evening ceremony will take place at 6:30pm at Hyatt Field.

Every morning MES and MIS students are greeted by a group from the community or UAM teams. This morning they had a special treat in the roundabout on Jordan Drive: Horses!
