A Decade of Heart: Honoring Wil Maxwell

Wil Maxwell is retiring after ten years of service as a member of the Monticello School Board of Directors.

MHS FBLA recently participated in the District III FBLA Spring Conference in Stuttgart.
Congratulations to the following members who placed and will advance to state in Little Rock on April 7-8: Eli Coburn, first place in Introduction to Business Communication; McKenley Bryant, second place in Introduction to Information Technology; Andrew Vondran, second place in Business Law; Montre Burnett, third place in Organizational Leadership; Lynlee Fletcher, third place in Personal Finance; Kallee Laudell, third place in Journalism; Adalynne Ayecock, fifth place in Introduction to Business Procedures; and Allie Hall, fifth place in Introduction to Business Concepts. MHS FBLA also received the third place award for largest chapter membership in District III.

The Lady Billies fought hard but came up short against Warren, while the Senior Billies brought home a big win on Senior Night! 💙🤍🏀 The Billies are back on the road to Crossett this Thursday night — tip-off at 5:30. Make the drive and support!

The MHS Robotics Team competed in their first meet of the season Saturday in Conway! So proud of their hard work, teamwork, and dedication these students and their sponsor are showing!

Please be advised that on Tuesday, February 10th, all four campuses within the district will be conducting cardiac response drills. These exercises are a critical step in our commitment to student and staff safety as we work toward obtaining our Heart Safe School Certification.

Please do not be alarmed. These are strictly controlled practice scenarios designed to ensure our teams are prepared for cardiac emergencies. There is no actual emergency taking place
