Getting Real About Finances!
Students in Quantitative Literacy and Personal Finance classes teamed up with community members to experience real-world money management through “Get Real: Here’s the Deal,” a hands-on financial simulation presented by the Extension Office.
From budgeting to unexpected life expenses, students got a firsthand look at what it takes to navigate the financial challenges of adulthood — and learned that real life definitely comes with real costs!

We are so incredibly proud of our talented artists at the Monticello Intermediate 21st CCLC afterschool program! 🥳
Our students' fantastic art projects were entered into the Drew County Fair, and they looked absolutely amazing! What a great opportunity for our kids to showcase their creativity and hard work to the community.
Be sure to check out the incredible displays at the Fair! Congratulations to all our young artists! 🎉

Another fun day of learning at MHS!
Mrs. Breedlove’s all girl psychology class had to recruit some willing boys to compete in a battle of the sexes question game. Boys- get “girl” questions and girls get “boy” questions. It got a little competitive. The boys were lucky to have Mr/Coach Brown come in clutch with their precise length of a capri pant!

Monticello School District was well represented today in the Fair Parade. MHS Cheer, MJB Cheer, MHS Homecoming Court, MHS Band, Monticello Peewee Football and Peewee Cheerleaders all participated in the parade today. We 💙 our Billies!

Current and former MHS AP US History and Psychology students attended the Appeals on Wheels oral arguments by the Arkansas Supreme Court today at UAM. Besides hearing the appeal, students were able to participate in a photo opportunity with court members and a question and answer session with a justice. The MHS students had the privilege of talking with Chief Justice Karen Baker. Our students enjoyed the argument process, asked great questions, and are eagerly awaiting the decision of the case.
