School Board

School Board meetings are the third Tuesday of each month at Central Office unless board votes to change the date.




The Monticello School Board is a legislative body comprised of five members elected for five-year terms, whose primary responsibility is to: 

The School Board is responsible for setting priorities (through the budget) and for establishing local policy to ensure that the schools are properly run in accordance with state law and regulations. The School Board is always open to your feedback and comments.
