🌦️ 6th grade scientists took their learning outside to explore the water cycle! Students made connections between the systems of the Earth and the movement of water in our environment! ☀️
Miss Geels’ Human Relations class at MHS have been learning about individual development and the importance of positive self-esteem. They decided to spread this positivity by decorating the sidewalks with positive messages to students.

Yesterday, our incredible Monticello OEC students had an awesome visit from a representative from the Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC)! They learned all about the amazing scholarships and training programs available at NADC's brand new facility in Nashville, Tennessee. 🎓🔧
It's a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore a future in skilled trades and see what's possible after graduation. We're so proud of their dedication and commitment to learning!

Congratulations to our MHS Golf team on their 1st place win today in Crossett. The team played 18 holes competing against Crossett, Hamburg, Taylor, and Camden Fairview. On September 6, 2025, Monticello Schools hosted the opening season, Billies Invitational at the Monticello Sports Complex for Cross Country Teams.
For the Junior girls division, Bella Perez walks away with the 3rd place win out of 28 with an impressive time of 14 minutes and 44 seconds.
For the Senior Boys division, Cody Stewart walks away with the 7th place win out of 31 with a crazy impressive PR time of 18 minutes and 54 seconds in the 5K - crushing his previous time by minutes.
For the Junior Boys division, Gavin Prince walks away with the 3rd place win out of 29 with a time of 12 minutes and 25 seconds in the 2 mile.
For the Senior Girls division, Liyah Young walks away with the 5th place win out of 23 with a time of 23 minutes and 24 seconds in the 5K.
Our Cross Country Teams will be back in action next Saturday in North Little Rock.
The Billies fall to Bauxite on the road 38-36. The Billies head into off week before hosting Dumas at home on September 19th.
