📢 See something, say something! 📢
We're excited to announce a new feature on our Monticello School District website: Billie Watch Anonymous Reporting.
This tool is a safe and confidential way for students, parents, and community members to report concerns about bullying, safety, or other issues. Your report will go directly to school administrators, allowing us to address problems quickly and discreetly.
You can find the Billie Watch link on our district homepage in the top right corner. Let's work together to keep our schools a safe and positive place for everyone.

Monticello Elementary would like to thank a very generous, anonymous donor who made it possible for some very lucky MES students to make purchases of books from the Scholastic Book Fair being held this week. The donor simply wished to promote a love for reading in the early grades and only stipulated that students make purchases of books from the Book Fair. MES thanks you for your kindness and your generosity.

Monticello School District families and community,
We are relieved to report that our school lockdown has been lifted and all students and staff are safe.
Earlier today, our schools went into a precautionary lockdown due to a security threat in the area. We can now confirm that the individual involved has been taken into police custody. We want to commend our staff and students for their swift and calm response in following our established safety procedures.
The safety of our students is always our top priority. We thank the Monticello Police Department for their quick response and our community for their patience and support.
MSD want to thank Mayor Jason Akers and the Monticello Police Department for their swift and professional response to this situation.

Our Crime Scene Investigation students at the OEC are becoming true detectives! They're getting hands-on experience by learning how to process simulated crime scenes and the fundamentals of fingerprinting. It's great to see them put their skills to the test in a practical way.

A big shout-out to the students in the OEC electrical class! They're gaining valuable hands-on experience, learning how to safely strip and connect wires to electrical outlets and switch boxes. It's awesome to see them apply their technical skills and follow proper safety procedures. Great job, everyone!
