One-Handed Catch

Norm is good-natured about the accident in his family's store and the surgery afterwards–maybe when he came into this world, his left hand had a return trip ticket for July 4, 1946.  But he does have some questions for the social worker who tells him about getting a prosthesis: "Can you catch a ball with a hook?... What about batting? Do they have special hooks for that?"
