A Note From Your Director

The staff at Alternative Education extends a sincere welcome to all of our students and their families.

  • Our goal as professional educators is to prepare students for the future and to have them feel good about themselves and their school experience.  Academic success and a positive self-image are priorities needed to reach these goals.
  • Each student is a unique individual with his/her own talents, learning styles, experiences, and personal goals.
  • Education is a process that is life long and takes place in a variety of ways and places.  Because not all students can benefit from one type of learning style, alternative education meets the many needs of students who require different learning strategies and require a non traditional school setting.
  • Our center offers various learning styles and approaches not offered by the traditional school setting.

Alternative Education strives to develop a feeling of high self-esteem and a sense of self-worth by becoming aware of our students personal strengths and weaknesses.  Experiencing positive success in learning gives our students the opportunity to develop a positive school experience which in turn, will allow the student to achieve his/her individual educational goals.

Our faculty challenges students to reach their fullest potential.  We are here to help our students succeed, and plan to see lives changed through our ongoing efforts, that hopefully will affect the lives of our students for years to come.

Sincerely,

Robert Ellis, Director
